I grew up in Invercargill which has the dubious honour of being called ‘the asshole of the world’ by Keith Richards. Upon leaving school I studied at Otago University before going travelling in the late 90’s. That’s when I realised just how wrong old Keith was. Invercargill was the land of milk and honey compared with so many places I visited. I am very lucky to call New Zealand home.
After returning in 2000 I studied photography and have been working as a photographer ever since. I love shooting real people and interesting spaces. My camera often allows me a little glimpse into how other folks live, which I find fascinating.
I am based in Nelson with my partner Bryn and daughter Mia.
