Kate married Alex at her parents bach by Lake Taupo a couple of weekends ago.

It was idyllic.

I hope this tells the story of yesterday a little bit…mostly sunny, somewhat windy and quite a lot lovely.

New Years Day…sand tobogganing at Ninety Mile Beach. Could have been disastrous on a mighty hangover but it wasn’t. It was so excellent it could possibly have contributed to end of hangover…I highly recommend it.

And the magical four sisters kauri trees, close to Tane Mahuta, the largest Kauri in NZ. It’s massive…too massive to fit in an iPhone lens in fact.

I went on a wee road trip for four days at New Years….Kaitaia to Auckland with some really old friends.

It was bliss, despite the whole raining non-stop summer thing. Camping, drinking, eating good food, hanging out.
