I grew up in Invercargill, New Zealand. I think it's one of the closest cities to Antarctica so my childhood memories are full of bikes skidding on ice and electric blankets. Upon leaving school I spent five years at Otago University before going travelling in the late 90’s.
After returning to New Zealand in 2000 I studied photography and began working as a photographer in Wellington. After fifteen years in the capital, I finally decided some warmth was in order and moved to Nelson with my partner Bryn and daughter Mia.
I love shooting real people and interesting spaces. My camera often allows me a little glimpse into how other people live, which I find fascinating.
